This authorization is given to allow Global Star Logistics to fairly and rapidly evaluate my/our application for credit. Global Star Logistics will contact the aforementioned contact with its findings and determination of credit line (if any). As a condition of extending credit to customers, Global Star Logistics reserves the right to retract any line of credit in the case the account does not remain in good standing. Global Star Logistics also reserves the right to require customers to agree to bank draft arrangements, provide a security deposit, or to provide a bank letter of credit. The invoice date begins the credit term cycle and all payments are due within 15 days from the invoice date. Failure to keep your Global Star Logistics account in good standing will result in the account being placed on cash or prepayment only basis; the assignment of this status may also result in: the loss of any discounts, delay in services, or the inability to request further services. The shipper and any other party liable for payment will be responsible for any reasonable costs incurred by Global Star Logistics in the process of attempting to collect payment on accounts. These costs may include but are not limited to: attorneys’ fees, collection fees, interest, and court costs. Global Star Logistics also reserves the right to bill back to the shipper any third-party billing arrangements once Global Star Logistics has exhausted attempts to collect unpaid charges.
